Friday Night Lattice - Week 8 Edition

#8 LOUISVILLE continues with their high school level schedule taking on CENTRAL FLORIDA at home. This may honestly be the best team they'll play in the regular season. At least there is one good thing about these schools.

"The West is the Best" in Week 6 Lattice

We had an unprecedented tie last week as Buck and Shockey each missed 5 , picked the same 61 points for the GOW, and the GOW saw UGA vs. LSU push. Once again proving Shockey is a lucky mf'er.

We have another battle of Mormons as BYU and UTAH STATE square off on our only Friday night game. There are no blockbuster SEC games this week, but tons of intriguing ones. I think the best one may be VANDERBILT hosting MISSOURI in our backyard on West End. OHIO STATE travels to Evanston to tussle with the upstart NORTHWESTERN L-TRAINS. In our featured Game of the Week, we have STANFORD hosting WASHINGTON. This is a battle of undefeated teams with BCS aspirations.

WEEK #5 Lattice - "Don't call it a comeback"

Week 5 looks to be a reprieve from the football Gods for the Dirty Sanchez they gave us with Week 4! L.L. requested we not call it a comeback.

Week 5 has an amazing slate of Top 25 match-ups starting with our Game of the Week, #9 GEORGIA hosting the 6th ranked BAYOU BENGALS of BATON ROUGE. This is the Dawgs third Top 10 opponent already this year, and LSU's first true road game. Should be a classic.

Staying with the almighty SEC, #1 ALABAMA faces the new kid on the SEC West block the #21 OLE MISS REBELS. #14 OKLAHOMA has to roll into South Bend to face the #22 IRISH. The not-so Big 10 (B1G) has the final game or ranked schools with #4 URBAN MEYER BUCKEYES hosting #24 WISCONSIN.

On to ACT II ....

And since this will likely be ARIZONA's only appearance, I had to pay respect.
