Week 5 Lattice Blog

After a one week hiatus, the Lattice blog is back. Thanks to Comcast poor service, I am sitting in a McDonalds creating this. This could be the worst week of games this season. Almost no great match-ups in any league, let alone the best SEC match-up being GEORGIA hosting TENNESSEE. There are few intriguing match-ups, but this week looks horrible on paper. You never know though, as this week could turn out to be excellent.

Week 3 LATTICE Blog

Week 3 is quickly upon us, and we've already had a major shift in the college landscape. What would have been the Game of the Week, has become an afterthought due to the Arkansas Razorbacks collapse in Little Rock vs. Louisiana-Monroe. The Razorbacks have fallen faster than Ochocinco.

And just like that, the #23 Tennessee Vols hosting the #18 Florida Gators is the biggest game in the SEC ! Gameday changed their plans, and will roll into Knoxville guns a blazin'. Listening to the sports talk radio here in the Volunteer state, you would think the Vols are BCS contenders. In reality, they face a road-tested Gator team who just welcomed College Station into the SEC, and beat a solid Aggie squad. This game will have major implications on how a suddenty tough SEC East shakes out.

We have a great SEC vs. Big 12 tussle in The Grove as the #14 Texas Longhorns roll into Oxford and battle the Ole Miss Rebels. This match-up of amazing female fans in one town could send tremors through the entire southern U.S. on Saturday. We also have another BCS intra-conference battle with the Missouri Tigers hosting the Arizona State Sun Devils. In the best non-conference game of the week, the #20 Notre Dame Fighting Irish travel to East Lansing to face the #10 Michigan State Spartans. As you will see below, all of these teams have earned their place on this blog by cultivating some of the finest coeds in the land.

Week 2 Lattice 2012

The SEC clearly made it a priority to give the new kids in town a great conference home opener to welcome them to the SEC. We have our Game of the Week featuring #7 Georgia Bulldogs traveling to Missouri for an SEC East battle. Not to be outdone, the #24 Florida Gators have to go down to Texas AM and take on the Aggies and their 12th Man posse. I think the College Station atmosphere will quickly become one of the toughest places to play. We also have an interesting SEC/PAC 12 battle as the Washington Huskies travel into Death Valley at night to play #3 LSU Tigers. And the game added simply so I can put a ton of UCF pictures, has the Knights or Orlando traveling to the Horseshoe to face the #14 Ohio State Buckeyes and Urban Meyer. Feast your eyes !
