WEEK 13

Deml knotched his first victory of the year with an interesting strategy of all underdogs except Virginia Tech -11. It paid off as the BCS picture cleared up after Oklahoma State, Oregon, Oklahoma, & Clemson all took a loss. OK State still only has one loss , they "still have a chance". However, it appears the SEC is in the driver seat to have 2 teams in the BCS championship. Of course, all that could change with some late-season stumbling.

On to Week 13. We have some incredible match-ups, so there are a record 19 games on this week's Sheet. Thanksgiving Day features the last game in a longstanding rivalry, as Texas A&M hosts #25 Texas. In the 118th football game between the two biggest public schools in the state of Texas, the Texas Longhorns are +8 road underdogs against the Texas A&M Aggies.

Friday is when things really get going. The math up of the weekend again occurs in the SEC,as the #3 Arkansas Razorbacks travel to the bayou to face the #1 and undefeated LSU Tigers. What a way to take the greatest week in sports to another level. Can #8 Houston stay undefeated and challenge for a BCS game berth? The State of Georgia features two ranked rivalries as the Dawgs head to ATL to face the Yellowjackets. The Iron Bowl at #24 Auburn is all that may stand in the way of the Crimson Tide getting into the BCS title game. The State of South Carolina showcases #12 Gamecocks hosting #17 Clemson. #6 Stanford steps out of PAC-12 play and hosts #22 Notre Dame in their annual rivalry. Michigan vs Ohio State still means something in the Midwest, even if the Buckeyes have fallen fast. Can the VOls win #6 and become bowl eligible? Tennessee has won 26 consecutive games over Kentucky since 1985, the second-longest active winning streak between two NCAA D-I teams.

Shockey became our 3rd two-time winner last week. There are only a couple weeks left, and a few folks have not taken home the prize.

The SEC has a mediocre slate this week. Only 1 decent matchup has #6 ARKANSAS hosting MISSISSIPPI STATE. There are a ton of cupcake games with giant spreads, so it will bevery interesting how many Big Boys can cover them.

The best game may be out west in Eugene, as #4 OREGON hosts #18 USC. If the Ducks can get by the Lane Kiffins, they have a decent shot of playing for the BCS title.There are few other Top 25 match ups that warrant a blog appearance.

Congrats to Andrew Littleton for being our 2nd repeat winner this year. We still have a few weeks left, so there is stills ome money to be won.

Our game of the week features the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry . A little history on the game. The two schools first played each other on February 20, 1892, and have played every year since 1898, sans the WW I and WW II years. Needless to say, their forefathers would be proud of the fine talent these 2 schools have attracted.

Our Thursday Night match-up features 2 of the top teams in the ACC. #10 Virginia Tech travels to #21 Georgia Tech for a nice opening game for Week 11.

In another game with huge BCS implications, #7 Oregon heads south to Palo Alto to take on the undefeated #4 Stanford Cardinal. This is the gem of the weekend, and could help clear up the BCS picture. Regardless, it's clear Oregon is loaded, while Stanford gets an A for effort.

#5 Boise State welcomes their only legitimate conference rival in #24 TCU into town to try and hold on to their BCS championship title hopes. They have to keep winning, or they are done. Either way, there are some nice co-eds to comfort even the most distraught fans.
